Light Global Missions (LGM) spreads the Light of the Gospel in accordance with the scriptures found in Matthew 5:14-16 to people and communities around the globe. Through teaching, evangelism and community-based development training, LGM lights and lifts those they serve that all may live abundant and purpose-filled lives to the glory of God.

How Light Global Missions Began
A few years ago, I had a dream in which I was standing on a plain with a group of others when I
heard a voice say “Jump!” Immediately afterward, the ground beneath us split open and I was
left, not having jumped, on the same side of a huge canyon. I again heard the word, “Jump!”.
Again, I did not jump seeing that the huge canyon between both sides was entirely too wide for
any human to clear with a jump. I was then prompted to “Look!”
I looked, and in the gulf, I saw the hand of God spanning the distance between both sides. What
I thought was a command to leap to sudden death was actually an invitation to leap fearlessly
into God’s waiting and capable hands.
At the beginning of the following year, I began hearing an inner voice saying “you know this is
your leap-year.” This message came as the year went on with more frequency and conviction.
After much prayer regarding the meaning of these words, I committed to follow God’s call to
take the leap, still not completely understanding what was meant.
I took my first leap by following God’s leading to sell my home of sixteen years. It was
wonderful to see how that step of obedience was rewarded both financially and how things fell
into place for a smooth and quick sell.
Next, God led me to take another huge leap of faith as he called me to end my time of
employment with a not-for profit organization I had founded and directed for over thirty years.
“Your assignment here is completed”, He told me. In the course of time, God began to make
clear to me a call into full time, global and evangelistic missions! It had been a life-long desire
and I had often responded to the call by participating in short term trips to various countries in
Africa, Latin America & North America. This time was different, however. God led me to
continue the process of downsizing and to begin training as a full-time missionary evangelist.
Thus, “Light Global Missions” was launched with a mission of spreading the light of God’s word
to people around the Globe! By Lighting, Lifting & Serving, it is my hope that lives will be
forever changed and the Kingdom mandate of Christ will be filled for this generation.
